Our services are for all ages and backgrounds. Our team is intentional to love and lead every person that comes through the doors by planning thoughtful worship songs (hymns and contemporary style) and intergenerational/applicable bible teaching. You will never be embarrassed or pressured into anything. You can watch one of our live-streamed services to get the idea!
Whatever you are comfortable in! And whatever allows you to worship God best. But to give you an idea of what to expect, golf course attire is typically the maximum niceness for many of our people.
We believe in fostering a diverse family environment that embraces individuals from all generations, backgrounds, ethnicities, and abilities. The unity found within our community, despite our differences, reflects the essence of God's Kingdom, and it's something we wholeheartedly celebrate. In other words, there is a warm and welcoming place here for you.
No, come with all your doubts and questions! We can promise you will hear what we believe as Christians, but ultimately, the choice to believe is yours. That is what we call faith. If you have any questions, you can always reach out to one of our pastors here.
Yes, every single week. Communion is of high value and importance to us. It is a weekly reminder of our salvation and a remembrance of the Lord Jesus' sacrifice that secured it.
On your way into the service, you will pick up a communion cup on the tables in the sanctuary entrances. These communion cups have both the grape juice (wine which is the blood of Jesus) and small cracker (which is the body of Jesus) in them. At the specified time in service a host on stage will lead the whole congregation through communion. It is a special moment that we have every week.
1. Ask the people attending what brought them there and what kept them at this church. Listening to the church-goers is super valuable in getting the real idea of the church.
2. Make sure senior leadership is humble and always relying on the Lord. It's important that leadership is seeking first His kingdom.
3. You should make sure your spirit is at peace. You should have confidence that you can get on board with what they are doing. Ask questions like: "Am I excited to be apart of their ministries?"
4. Find the right kid's and student ministry. Drive across town if you have to. It is always a wise decision to put your kids in the right environment.
We believe in the family unit. There are environments for your kids and students to encounter Jesus in Harborside Kids and Harborside Students. We dont just have kids and student ministry, we are raising up kids and students that minister to God and others.

We have an excellent pastor, Tom Bates, who would love to come visit you in the hospital if you would like that. Just visit the “care” tab on the staff page.
You can submit a prayer request here. Once you have submitted we give the prayer requests to our prayer team and every sunday morning they lift up your requests!
You can find information about events here. If you want more information, download the Harborside App on any app store. There you can add the events to your calendar and receive notifications.
Plugging in shouldn’t be hard to do. Here are some easy steps to plugging into our church:
Join Our Worship Services: Start by attending our services to meet our congregation and experience our unique worship style and values.
Attend the NEXT Class: Dive deeper into our church during this four-week class, where you'll learn about our mission, and vision and find your path to getting involved.
Join a Connect Group: Its our way of making a big church feel small. We understand that a big church can be overwhelming and stifling to individual connection. Groups are the best way to connect and encounter the Lord with a community that you do life with.
Yes we do. Please reach out to Shai at shai@harborsidechurch.org and the Harborside Chapel team will assist you.
We have countless groups, programming, and connection environments going on throughout every week. In order to keep our facility optimized for ongoing church activity, we do not rent out our facility.
We value generosity. Visit our giving webpage to learn all about our views on giving.
Together, we share in communion every week during services. Jesus says, “For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:26.
It is a constant reminder of the great sacrifice that Jesus made for us and is a sacrament that we hold with high value.
We are always growing and learning. We never take the stance that we are the only Christians that have it all figured out. You can email info@harborsidechurch.org with any questions about theology.
